Abstract: ABSTRACT: A male sexual offender is a person who has been convicted of a sexual offense. In this study, male sexual offenders are defined as those participants who commit the rape crime against females . Muluki Criminal Code 2074 states that anyone who engages in sexual activity with a woman without her consent, or, in the case of women under the age of eighteen, even with her consent, shall be considered to have committed rape. This study aims to explore the psychosocial influences of Male Sexual Offenders in committing crimes. The study site is Nakhu Jail of Nepal, Lalitpur, where male participants who are sentenced to prison for a crime. In-depth interviews and unstructured questions were conducted in data collection from those male sexual offending participants after receiving permission from the informed consent form. KII was also used for expert opinion because of this study's main purpose to deliver messages in the community and society. The research questions are about childhood to adolescent age experience, social background, peer support, and these types of unstructured question-based in-depth interviews. In this narrative study, thematic analysis was used to generate findings that revealed psychosocial influences like childhood trauma, aggressive behavior, motivation from peers, lack of knowledge about the consequences of crime, alcohol consumption, parenting, couple relations, and peer pressure as the factors for crime. This finding is significant for awareness and trajectory for psychologists and counselors who are interested in working with crime and criminals.
